I’m honestly still pinching myself!
This month has brought not one, but two very special awards for Amanda Campbell Interiors – and with this being the year I celebrate 10 years in business, it feels even more special.
I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve been named Best Interior Designer in Newark-on-Trent at the 2026 Quality Business Awards, as well as winning the Interior Design Business of the Year – East Midlands 2026 at the My Local Awards.

To receive two awards in the same month is something I’m genuinely very proud of. But what makes them particularly special is knowing that people have taken the time to vote for my business and support what I do.
The My Local Award is especially lovely because it recognises businesses across the East Midlands, and to be named Interior Design Business of the Year is a wonderful acknowledgement of the work I’ve built over the past 10 years. It’s a reminder of how far Amanda Campbell Interiors has come since I took the leap and started my own business.

For me, interior design has never just been about making rooms look beautiful or following the latest trends. It’s about creating spaces that work for the people who live in them.
I take the time to understand my clients, their lifestyles, personalities and how they want their homes to feel, as well as how they want them to look. Whether I’m working on a complete renovation, a single room or through one of my virtual design services, I want every project to feel personal and, most importantly, work for the people using it.
One project that has particularly stayed with me was designing a bedroom for a teenage boy who rarely used his own room. We created a space around his interests, including areas for gaming and music, while also giving him somewhere comfortable and personal to relax.
The finished room did much more than simply look good. He started spending time there, doing his homework, relaxing and eventually sleeping there every night.
That’s what I love about interior design.
It can completely change how someone feels about their home and how they use the space around them.
So, while I’m incredibly proud of these two awards, I’m also incredibly thankful.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me and Amanda Campbell Interiors, and to every client, friend, follower and supporter who has recommended me, shared my work, engaged with my posts or simply cheered me on over the years.
This year marks 10 years since I took the leap and started my own business, and I honestly couldn’t have imagined reaching this point when I first began.
I feel very lucky to be doing something I genuinely love, and to have so many wonderful people supporting me along the way.
Thank you for being part of the journey – here’s to the next chapter!
