Hello,
Im so excited about the Autumn/Winter interior trends and new colours, this has always been my favourite season even when working in fashion. Don’t get me wrong, I love the long summer days but don’t particularly like myself in shorts and strappy clothes. Not as much as I love to pull on my skinny jeans, a chunky jumper and not to forget a new pair of lush winter boots or trainers!
Anyway let me share my two favourites, if you haven’t seen already…
Ink Paint
This seasons colour INK, I absolutely can’t get enough of it and plan to use somewhere/anywhere in our home. 👍🏻 Ink is a Navy, (also my favourite colour in clothes) it’s so dark it’s almost black. But the hint of blue makes it softer. However you choose to use it, it will make a bold and daring statement in your home.
Coming Soon…Annie Sloan is introducing Oxford Navy into her chalk paint collection. This is an inky, traditional navy blue which evokes the strong, august blue of academic insignia and fountain pens. See website for more information.
Jewel Shades
For those who love getting creative with colour, rich hues take the spotlight with the Jewel Shades trend this season. Think deep, vibrant tones that add a touch of opulence to your living space – a rich and sophisticated palette of emerald green, sapphire blue, amethyst purple, and ruby red will create a head-turning look.
‘Textiles play a huge part in creating a feeling of decadence with this trend. Whether you decide on opulent velvet or sumptuous satin, the look and feel of your furnishings will enhance the overall richness of your space.
